Mining in agricultural areas is a state issue and we defer to Family First’s State representatives on that matter.
I understand that our state colleague the Hon. Robert Brokenshire MLC is working toward improved rights for land owners when mining extraction or exploration is proposed on their property. Family First SA’s work on ‘right to farm’ legislation also complements improved priority for farming as a land use.
