RALLY AGAINST REX
WHERE: Pine Point Main Street
WHEN: Easter Saturday, 19th April 2014
TIME: 9.45 am
On Easter Saturday, Mr Mark Parry, Chief Executive of Rex Minerals Ltd, will
be at the Pine Point Hall to talk to Black Point and Pine Point Progress
Association members. Mr Parry’s talk will commence immediately following of
the Black Point Progress Association’s AGM which commences at 10 am.
We urge as many people as possible to gather on the main street of Pine
Point near the hall to demonstrate the community’s continuing strong
opposition to Rex Minerals’ proposed Hillside Mine.
We need to show Mr Parry and Rex Minerals that they do not have a social
licence to mine at Hillside.
We stress that this will be a peaceful rally. Our presence alone is all that
is needed to get our message across.
We will have banners on display, posters for people to hold and flyers to
hand out to interested people. If you can make your own signs, please do
so. The more the better!
THIS WILL BE OUR LAST CHANCE TO SEND OUR MESSAGE TO REX MINERALS AND THE
GOVERNMENT BEFORE A DECISION ON THE MINING LEASE PROPOSAL IS MADE.
